Tempers exploded in Derby as Frazer Clarke and Jeamie TKV nearly ripped through security during a heated weigh-in that set the tone for tomorrow night’s British Heavyweight Title fight. Both men locked in at career-hefty weights — at Clarke 270.2 lbsat TKV 264.9 lbs — and neither bothered pretending they like each other. BBC Two’s cameras caught the shove, the shouting, and the security scramble. That alone will drag plenty of casuals into the broadcast.
This card marks the first event in the fresh BBC Sport and BOXXER partnership, meaning millions will get this one free on BBC Two in prime time. Undercard rolls from 6pm on BBC iPlayer, then the big lads take over from 8–10pm. Derby’s going to sound like a steam engine.

Clarke kept his words sharp earlier in the week, telling BBC Sport, “I’m done talking. He’s getting dealt with.” Jeamie TKV wasn’t exactly backing down. Speaking to BOXXER’s own cameras, he fired back: “He thinks this is his night. It’s mine.” Simple. Direct. The kind of talk that turns a British title fight into something a bit nastier.
The rest of the card isn’t soft either. Francesca Hennessy looks to make a serious statement against former world champion Fabiana Bytyqi for the WBC International bantamweight strap. Bobby Dalton defends his English welterweight belt against Joel Kodua. Jack Massey makes his return, and Bradley Goldsmith meets Jordan Dujon in what might quietly be the toughest scrap of the night.
Fans online said Clarke “looks massive,” some worried he’s “carrying too much” while others insist the size is “exactly what he needs to bully TKV.” A chunk of fans think TKV came in perfectly balanced and “could shock everyone.” As always, the comments are half analysis, half chaos.
Clarke and TKV will finally crack on this Saturday, and the BBC are actually making it easy for once. Early bits stream on iPlayer, then the TV broadcast kicks in later. Proper straight-through setup.
Ringwalks for Clarke versus TKV are lined up for around 21:00, depending on how messy the earlier fights get.
The event starts 18:00 GMT good BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport app/site. Then at 20:00it jumps on BBC Two for the heavyweight dust-up. If you’re out and about, BBC Radio Derby and BBC Sounds have audio from 18:00.
