Google changes Android news to a virtual event before its I/O developers conference

News for Android are moving to a side show in The Google Developer’s Annual Conference, Google I/Onext month. On Monday, the company announced that it would share information about the latest updates coming to the Android ecosystem at a future virtual event called “The Android Show: I/O Edition”, broadcasting on May 13.

The decision to shift the Android part of Google I/O to its special event before I/O suggests this year’s conference may be even more severe than usual. He’s news and updates were already getting a longer and longer portion of the main consumer addresses and Google I/O developers.

Google, however, is creating this change differently.

Instead, the company says there were “so many new things to share” about Android that chose to create a special event – a publication I/O Its Android show Podcast video – as another way to share the latest news and changes. If this is because there are “a lot of news” or because Google decided that Android news did not require a receipt as high as previous years remains to be seen.
