A subsequent question about the final result answered correctly, but the twins took the name of the first mistake marker: He suggested it was Johan Dutson. Dutson was shown by taking an obstacle to the main points with the results in 0-0, but was excluded-an example of the nuances he does not necessarily receive.
The twins successfully identified it when Kansas City bosses took their first points, and even included a time limit directly related to the touch on the YouTube clip. She also got the name of the right marker. It seems that the Gemini is very dependent on the comment on sports clips, which is not surprising.
Next, we tried to put the twins against a Featureste back-to-skin For the Grand Budapest Hotel, directed by Wes Anderson. The clip goes up to four and a half minutes, and the Gemini ceased some answers almost immediately: he identified the name of the film being spoken, and the main beats of the clip narrative.
However, everything relies on the audio (or transcript) again – it does not seem to have any analysis of the actual video content. He could not say who were the heads speaking in the video, even though their names appeared on screen, and were unable to say who the director was (although this was also mentioned in the video description).
On the plus side, the Gemini did an impressive job to summarize the video audio. She accurately identified some of the challenges of creating the film that was mentioned in everyone, and provided them with deadlines – from searching for a group to represent the great Budapest to fill it with additions.
Finally we tried Google Gemini with an interview: Channel 4 in the UK talking to Charlie Brooker and Siena Kelly for the last series of Mirror (Probably suitable for an item in him). The twins proved very capable of choosing the conversation points, and increasing the time limit, though of course the whole video is largely speaking.
Again, however, there is no context for anything outside the audio or transcript. Gemini could not say where the interview happened, or how the participants did, or anything else about the video footage – which is worth keeping in mind if you use it yourself.
For the videos where the answers you want are in the audio of a YouTube video, and its connected transcript, the Gemini works really well in the summary and providing the correct answers (provided the commentators mention when excluding a touch as and when one is marked). For any kind of visual information, you will need to watch the video yourself.
